# AECO Data Readiness Scorecard

Before you feed your next project into a script, report, or AI tool, run it through this 10-minute scorecard.

If you score 3 across the board, nobody actually looked.

#### 💡Pro Tip

Scoring takes about 10 minutes solo, but it's twice as powerful if two people on the same project score separately and compare. The rows where you disagree are the exact blind spots you need to fix.

## The five levels

1. 1 Ad hoc Depends on individual habits. Two projects by two people look nothing alike.
2. 2 Partially defined Standards exist in places. They vary by project or by whoever set it up.
3. 3 Documented Expectations are written down. Adoption is inconsistent and nobody is checking.
4. 4 Governed Ownership, checkpoints, and milestones are established and enforced.
5. 5 Measurable Repeatable and auditable. Reliable enough for reporting or automation.
